McPherson County Tourism, Events, and Conventions (MCTEC) MCTEC promotes tourism, events, and conventions in McPherson County. This entity is a communication forum for various tourism related agencies within the county. Specific cooperative projects considered and undertaken include the development of an area-wide website, county-wide map of historical sites and a county events clearinghouse calendar. A Task Force was established as a permanent organization to provide administrative assistance and coordination among the existing organizations involved with tourism, events and conventions in McPherson County.
